About

The Quiet Mind Body Shop; established in 1979

Namaste; after many mystical experiences I was introduced to yoga and massage in 1978 which changed the course of my life. I dropped my job in the forestry, became a full-time yogi and learned how to give an excellent massage.

After several years of study with a variety of teachers which included two yoga teacher training courses I coined the name ‘The Quiet Mind Body Shop’ because I understood that real healing comes from within and that can only happen when the mind steps aside.

As an itinerant yogi doing my own practice, I shared yoga and massage with those wanting to learn. Over the years I have rented studio spaces and many church halls, but today the centre for my teaching is my own home.

As a yogi and some say a mystic, I am not affiliated to any organisation or bound by any belief. I have much in common with Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev who has mastered the gift of teaching far better than me.
